Overview
Located in the center of Istanbul, the Grand Bazaar is located in the middle of Beyazıt, Nuruosmaniye and Mercan districts and is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. It hosts approximately 4,000 shops. The Grand Bazaar is often referred to as the world's first shopping mall.
