Cakiraga Mansion
Overview
Çakırağa Mansion, which is rare in the Aegean Region and preserves the architectural style of the first construction, is one of the rare mansions built by Şerif Aliağa in 1761. This historical building, which remained neglected for many years, was restored and turned into a museum in the early 1990s. In addition to being an important source for understanding Ottoman daily life, Çakırağa Mansion offers one of the best examples of wooden Turkish houses.
