Overview

Altınköy Open Air Museum is a private open air museum located in the Altındağ district of Ankara. It was implemented in a wide area by Altındağ Municipality in order to draw attention to the fact that rapidly developing cities and villages that cannot resist this rapid change have become one of the main problems of the 21st century. The museum was carefully created by taking as reference the village architecture, traditions and culture of the 1930s and 1950s.
